- Can anyone who is running a SCSI ZIP-100 drive please tell the best way to
- use such a drive.
-
- At the moment I have configured my disks through the 'HDtoolBox'; on my A500+
- and A590 SCSI controller.
-
- My ZIP drive came with a DOS_driver from HISOFT but I found that when I used
- this the ZIP disks wouldn't format without crashing my computer, so I turned
- to using 'HDtoolBox' and experience no problems at all.
-
- I noticed that this Hisoft amiga DOS_driver had stuff configured like
- 'no. heads=4' ?!
-
- Is there anything wrong with NOT using the dos_driver?
-
- How have other ZIP users configured their disks?
- Plus, if you have any tips for getting the most from ZIP-100 drives and disks
- I'd really like to hear about them. ;)
-
- Thanks for your help, Chris.
