  13. Can anyone who is running a SCSI ZIP-100 drive please tell the best way to
  14. use such a drive.

  16. At the moment I have configured my disks through the 'HDtoolBox'; on my A500+
  17. and A590 SCSI controller.

  19. My ZIP drive came with a DOS_driver from HISOFT but I found that when I used
  20. this the ZIP disks wouldn't format without crashing my computer, so I turned
  21. to using 'HDtoolBox' and experience no problems at all.

  23. I noticed that this Hisoft amiga DOS_driver had stuff configured like
  24. 'no. heads=4' ?!
  25.  
  26. Is there anything wrong with NOT using the dos_driver?
  27.  
  28. How have other ZIP users configured their disks?
  29. Plus, if you have any tips for getting the most from ZIP-100 drives and disks
  30. I'd really like to hear about them.  ;)
